ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
Inspired by moonflowers, this artwork celebrates the contrast between its luminous white blooms and the iridescent colours of a blue dragonfly. Although many plants in the bindweed family are considered weeds, I have always been fascinated by their graceful climbing habit and delicate flowers. Painted with layered watercolour and ink on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper.
