Passiflora caerulea

from €28.00

A botanical fine art print featuring Passiflora caerulea, the blue passionflower, with its extraordinary flower structure, curling tendrils, leaves and fruit.
This artwork began as an original watercolor and ink painting, inspired by my fascination with the intricate forms found in plants. The Passiflora is one of the most unusual flowers I grow in my garden in Northern Italy, and I wanted to capture both its botanical details and its almost otherworldly beauty.

CHOOSE YOUR FINISH:
- Standard Art Print: A true-to-original reproduction of my watercolor and ink painting, individually hand-signed.
- Hand-embellished Print: The original artwork features metallic watercolor details that cannot be reproduced through the printing process. For the hand-embellished version, I individually reapply these metallic accents by hand, bringing back the subtle shimmer and changing reflections of the original painting.
Because each print is embellished individually by hand, slight variations will naturally occur, making every piece unique. The metallic effect changes depending on the light and viewing angle and may appear more subtle in photographs.
