Bright, joyful and full of movement, this watercolor celebrates the vibrant beauty of nasturtiums (Tropaeolum majus), one of my favorite flowers to grow every summer.
Painted from plants growing in my own garden in Northern Italy, this composition brings together glowing orange blossoms, delicate buds and the iconic round leaves that make nasturtiums instantly recognizable. Both ornamental and edible, these flowers attract pollinators while adding brilliant color to vegetable gardens and cottage landscapes.
